The Andhra Pradesh Private Degree College Managements' Association came into being as a registered organization on 18th January -2022 It was established as a common platform of the Managements of Private Degree Colleges of Andhra Pradesh to promote harmony and cooperation among them in all matters relating to their common good and quality higher education. Founded at Markapur, the following luminaries constituted the first Executive Committee of the Association:

The Association has been playing an important role in safeguarding the interests of Private Degree colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The Association succeeded in incorporating the provisions of this agreement into the Statutes of various affiliating universities of Andhra Pradesh.

In the past, the Association has fought several legal battles on issues pertaining to higher education in general and Private Degree colleges in particular. A long array of luminaries has given leadership to the activities of the organization.

APPDCMA: AUTHORITIES Kanumarla Gunda Reddy is among the first signatories of the Association.
